My Review: This is a fun read aloud story that allows children to use their imagination with the different ways they could get to school. The girl in the story describes everything from jumping frogs, slow turtles, roaring lions or riding an elephant. Each page is filled with a new and exciting animal. This is one of those stories that you can include questions to make it intriguing. Asking the students what animals they would like to ride on or which animals they think the girl shouldn’t have had. I like that this book has possibilities. This can even be turned into a great topic for a writing assignment.
