Back of Book: Jessica has always been a worrier, and learning about fire safety is making her more nervous than ever. But our favorite worrywart is about to discover that knowing what to do in an emergency is the best (and only) way to extinguish her fire-safety fears.
My Review: Fire safety can be tough to teach my Kindergartners. They begin to worry just like Jessica does in the story. I love reading this story because it is specific and gives children examples of steps that they can take to make their own homes a safer place to be. The text discusses examples like checking the batteries in fire alarms. The book also teaches kids how to stop drop and roll. This is an excellent book to read about overall fire safety.
