MY REVIEW: I tend to get slightly overwhelmed with my read alouds in the month of February. Between Groundhog Day, Valentines Day, Black History Month and Presidents Day, I always have a great deal of books to choose from for my class. Be my Valentine is one of my favorite stories that I read to my class because it is just plain sweet. It is about a little mouse named Isadore who is trying to write a perfect poem for his favorite mouse Athena. The story follows all the mishaps that occur while trying to make his Valentine’s day perfect. This book has a sweet ending and was a great circle time story for my Kinders. They really enjoyed it!
