Back of Book:

We’re All Wonders may be Auggie’s story, but it taps into every child’s longing to belong, and to be seen for who they truly are. It’s the perfect way for families and educators to talk about empathy and kindness with young children.

My Review:

I was very excited to learn that Wonder will soon be a Motion Picture. I was equally as excited to learn that RJ Palacio had written a book geared for a younger audience.  I was very excited to get my hands on a copy of We’re all Wonders. I love the simple, yet important message that is weaved throughout this story. The text focuses on the importance of being a wonder. It shows how every person is special and has something unique about them. I feel like the text shares one of the most important lessons we can teach children. It is okay to be different. It is okay to not be the same as everyone else. I believe that this book and the upcoming film, are going to make a huge impact on how bullying is perceived and handled in the classroom.
