My Review: Groundhog Day is often overlooked holiday. It celebrates the coming of spring in a most unusual way. As a teacher, I found that my students love to celebrate Groundhog Day. Last year I read several fun picture books to teach my students about the holiday. Groundhog Weather School is a fun story that teaches several groundhogs all the requirements needed to predict the weather. Readers learn different information on each page of the story. One page is dedicated to famous groundhogs, another page talks about building a burrow. I loved that this story was not only a fun read aloud, but also gave readers knowledge about Groundhogs.
