My Review:
This is a terrific book that has fascinating information about rocks and minerals. The material in the book discusses how rocks are formed, and what they are made of. Readers learn about space rocks, geodes, and how to tell the age of rocks. I loved the section that teaches readers about the sculptures, and creations that are made of stone. The illustrations are stunning and capture the beauty of rocks and minerals. This book is a great nonfiction text, that can be used for any report or unit study. It is a perfect introduction to Geology.
