Back of Book:
On a quiet snowy night, the lights go out, and the bright snowball moon outside illuminates everything. Two children meet up with some of their neighborhood friends to have fun in the snow sledding, building snow forts, and having snowball fights. They then go back inside to warm up by the fire with hot cocoa before going to sleep, dreaming of sleds and the next time they can have more snowy fun! With charming, retro illustrations and simple rhyming text, kids will love this warm winter picture book!
My Review:
This is a perfect story to read on cold winter nights. It is a lovely tale of one families adventure in the snow one winter night. The rhyming text is simple and easy for readers to follow along with. The descriptive words allow readers to easily picture what it would feel like to play in the snow under a full moon. The illustrations are soft and show the beauty of a snowy winter night. I am looking forward to reading this to my class.
