Back of Book:
How many ways are there to count to 100? Lots! The funny rhymes in this book will show you some different ways to count to 100 using a clown’s nose, piggy toes, and other groups of things. It all adds up to a fun way to learn about 100!
My Review:
This is one of my favorite books to read aloud to my class for the 100th Day of school. It is geared towards preschool and Kindergarten ages and makes counting fun. The rhyming text is simple and shows readers several examples of items that are in sets of 100. I especially loved that the text teaches readers how to add and to group numbers. Each page has a different equation on it. The illustrations are very colorful and engaging. The front of the book has a note for parents on how important counting with their children can be. A perfect story for the classroom or at home.
