My Review:
I was so excited to FINALLY get this book in from my library. I read so many amazing reviews and was excited to read it. I was not disappointed! The beauty of this book is simply incredible. It begins by describing the love that parents have for their child. As the story continues readers see signs of love throughout their towns and communities. I love that the story also discusses grief, like the loss of a loved one, or a trauma that occurs in the world. I love how each page reaches a new depth. It allows readers to feel what the story is talking about. Readers are able to relate to each situation. This book can be used in so many ways for writing assignments, to lessons on empathy. The illustrations are truly remarkable! Each page brings the words to life. I am so glad that a book like this exists in the world.
