My Review:
I remember standing in front of the Redwood Trees in awe of the majesty of them! This picture book beautifully captures the beauty of the trees. I love that this book is filled with amazing facts about the trees. It teaches readers about what kind of bugs and animals call the Redwoods home. I love that the book also labels the parts of the tree. The scientific research that was done for this book was well documented. There is a note in the back of the book that shares that the Redwoods are in danger and should be protected for all to see. The illustrations are beautiful and follow the young boys journey as he learns about a world that he had never heard of before. A perfect book to read for Arbor Day.
