My Review:
I received a digital copy of this picture book in exchange for an honest review.
I have been a long time fan of Maria Gianferrari and her fantastic nonfiction picture books. Play Like an Animal is a fun and creative book that showcases different wild animals and how play allows them to grow and learn. The text is a mix of action words that describe the animals as well as scientific facts. Readers will love learning about each animal and what makes them unique. The illustrations by Mia Powell are bright and playful. The back of the book shares more information about each animal As a teacher, I love finding picture books that my students enjoy and learn something from and this is a winner on every level.
