My Review:
I received a copy of this picture book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
I am so excited that Susanna Leonard Hill wrote another fabulously fun space book. This story focuses on planet Mars and how he just wants a friend. He asks several different plants if they want to play but everyone is busy to pay any attention to him. Readers learn several interesting facts about the plants as they follow Mars in his quest for a friend. The end of the story introduces readers to Spirit and Opportunity the NASA rovers and shows Mars finally getting some friends. The back of the book shares more information about space and is perfect to teach readers more about space. This is a captivating story and one that shouldn’t be missed!
