My Review:
I received a copy of this picture book from Farrar, Straus and Giroux in exchange for an honest review.
“Ways To Welcome” is a timely lyrical picture book that shows readers all the ways that they can be welcoming to new members of their community. Each page describes a different area be it a park, a library, or a coffee shop, where people from all walks of life can come together. The text is written in a rhythming scheme and allows for readers of all ages to see t ways that they can make a true difference and welcome new friends. The illustrations are full of bright images and showcase a variety of diverse people groups coming together. School is right around the corner and this is a perfect read-aloud for the first day. This is a truly wonderful story and should not be missed.
