I am so excited to team up with Blue Slip Media and Two Lions Press to be on the book tour for this adorable bedtime story. I received a copy of this picture book in exchange for an honest review.
Rosie and Charlie are back in an adorable and relatable book preparing for bed. Rosie has been having a tough time with her bedtime routine so Charlie comes up with a plan that includes meeting all the bedtime rituals. Rosie to sneak juice into her water bottle overdoes it with the bath bubbles and picks out footie pajamas for her and her beloved toy horse, Vern (despite Charlie’s attempts to explain that she will overheat… which she do Parents and children will laugh out loud as they read all the ways that Rosie tries to stay up later. The text is written using several different colors which allow readers to focus on when a character is speaking in the story. The first person narrative allows readers to focus on the story from Charlie’s point of view. The illustrations by Nate Wragg are captivating! He did a wonderful job of using bright colors to showcase the fun and adventure throughout the story.
This is a book that readers will want to hear over and over.
