My Review:
I received a copy of this picture book from Page Street Kids in exchange for an honest review.
“I Am The Wind” by Michael Karg uses lyrical language that introduces readers to the many personalities of the wind. Each page uses figurate language to introduce how the wind interacts with a group of animals from the frozen forests to the jungles, to the bayou bogs, and explain how the wind impacts their world. Each page ends with the stanza “I Am The Wind” which allows the text to sound very poetic. The illustrations by Sophie Diao are captivating with rich colors beautiful details. The back of the book has more information about the animals and areas mentioned throughout the story. “I Am The Wind” is a lovely story that will forever change the way readers perceive the wind.
