“You Are Enough: A Book About Inclusion” by Margaret O’Hair & Sofia Sanchez is a beautiful story that shows readers of all ages to love who they are. The book follows Sofia an 11-year-old model and actress with Down syndrome who encourages everyone that being different is a good thing. The inspirational text touches on the concepts of being a good friend, helping one another, acting in a kind manner, and most importantly being yourself! The illustrations by Sofia Cardoso are filled with vibrant colors and showcase characters with all kinds of backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. The back of the book shares more information about Sofia Sanchez as well as more information about Down Syndrome. This is a wonderful story that celebrates all aspects of inclusion.
