All We Need By Kathy Wolff Illustrated By Margaux Meganck

Each bustling day in our busy world, we can take a moment to appreciate the little things. From the simplest essentials like air and water to the wonderful warmth of family, friends, and neighbors, there is so much in life to be thankful for.

My Review:

I received a copy of this picture book from Bloomsbury Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

The last several weeks have felt extra heavy in my life. Between COVID 19, politics, and the anniversary of 9/11, I have felt overwhelmed and discouraged. Reading All We Need by Kathy Wolff opened my eyes to the truly important things. The lyrical text focuses on aspects of our lives that are truly important. Air, water, food, housing the ability to learn, and community are all highlighted in beautiful stanzas that end with the phrase “all we need” The illustrations by Margaux Meganck are nothing short of stunning! Each image showcases a diverse, inclusive community experiencing and sharing the important things that we all need. I highly recommend All We Need for the classroom or home library.
