My Review:

I received a copy of Beware the Cuddle Bear Gift Set Edition from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I am so excited to share this adorable story on National Cuddle Day!

Beware the Cuddle Bear by Sean Olsen is an exciting adventure story that follows Sir Benedict Beaker as he searches for the elusive Cuddle Bear.

The book is written with Sir Benedict Beaker speaking to the readers, describing all the ways that the Cuddle Bear will squeeze, snuggle, and hug you. The descriptive text pops with vibrant contrasting colors, setting the text apart from the rest of the story. As a teacher, I love that Sean weaved more complex words in the story, adding extra depth and providing opportunities for young readers to discuss the meanings with their families. The back of the book even has a glossary for readers to look up any words they may not know.

The illustrations by Justin Runfola are charming and bring the adorable Cuddle Bear to life. I love the bright images and attention to detail throughout the story. Last, but certainly not least, the book comes with an adorable bear hat and bear paw gloves, which make the perfect accessories to wear while reading the book.

Beware the Cuddle Bear is a perfect bedtime story or classroom read-aloud.
