Back of Book:

Bruce the bear likes to keep to himself. That, and eat eggs. But when his hard-boiled goose eggs turn out to be real, live goslings, he starts to lose his appetite. And even worse, the goslings are convinced he’s their mother. Bruce tries to get the geese to go south, but he can’t seem to rid himself of his new companions. What’s a bear to do?

My Review:

I was so excited when I recently found out that Ryan T. Higgins has a new story about Bruce coming out this fall. I loved reading Mother Bruce to my students. It is a truly engaging story that has great illustrations I loved the way this book is set up. The words are in short sentences which make it a great book for beginning readers to enjoy. I am looking forward to seeing what Ryan comes up with next.
