No Fuzzball! By Isabella Kung

Back of Book:
Fuzzball is Queen of the house. Her subjects just LOVE how she scales the tallest shelves and drags their belongings across the floor. Hear how they shout her name everywhere she goes … “NOFUZZBALL!” But when they leave her queendom for the weekend, she questions whether she should be a more benevolent ruler.
My Review:
I received a copy of this picture book from author Isabella Kung in exchange for an honest review.
Debut author Isabella Kung created a creative and fun story that shows readers the true personality of cats. Fuzzball loves being the center of her human’s lives and becomes agitated when they leave on vacation. Fuzzball comes up with creative and messy ways to show her family that she does indeed love them. The text is written in a first-person narrative that allows readers to connect to Fuzzball and her many emotions! I love that the text changes throughout the story and allows readers to point out Concept of Print. The illustrations are detailed and colorful I especially loved the expressions on the faces of the family as they shout No FUZZBALL!
This is a fantastic read-aloud and one that will be a hit in the classroom or at home.
